Discover Greek song
These classes are aimed at those who wish to develop their vocal ability and discover the performance of Greek song and its diverse styles: traditional, rebetiko, popluar and contemporary.
The classes are an opportunity to discover the extraordinary richness of this repertoire, its poetry and rhythms, and its colourful harmonies, which are so distinct. Through vocal exercises and and a variety of activities, we are going to learn to sing both in a group and individually.
You do not need to be able to read music to be a participate in this course.
Anna Koti is a singer and singing teacher. She graduated from the Hellinikon Conservatory in Athens, in classical music and traditional Greek music. She also obtained a diploma in theatre performance.
She took private lessons to train in jazz song and pop music. She regularly gives concerts, principally in Switzerland and Greece. In 2016 she created a Greek singing class witin the framework of the AMA music association and is extending her offerings by presenting a new course at ADEM.

Valentina Volonté
The workshop includes vocal and physical warm-up times, an ethnomusicological discovery of the songs through listening to the collections and learning a repertoire.

These dances belong to several distinct categories: work dances, ritual dances, military dances and women's traditional dances. Attention is drawn to the upper part of the body: the head, the movements of the arms and hands, as well as the dancer's facial expression.
