Discover Greek song
These classes are aimed at those who wish to develop their vocal ability and discover the performance of Greek song and its diverse styles: traditional, rebetiko, popluar and contemporary.
The classes are an opportunity to discover the extraordinary richness of this repertoire, its poetry and rhythms, and its colourful harmonies, which are so distinct. Through vocal exercises and and a variety of activities, we are going to learn to sing both in a group and individually.
You do not need to be able to read music to be a participate in this course.
Anna Koti is a singer and singing teacher. She graduated from the Hellinikon Conservatory in Athens, in classical music and traditional Greek music. She also obtained a diploma in theatre performance.
She took private lessons to train in jazz song and pop music. She regularly gives concerts, principally in Switzerland and Greece. In 2016 she created a Greek singing class witin the framework of the AMA music association and is extending her offerings by presenting a new course at ADEM.

Carnatic music is considered one of the most ancient music systems in the world. It is a learned music that is full of emotion and involves a lot of improvisation.

These monthly courses are for musicians from all backgrounds mastering one of the following instruments: Violin, cello, oud, guitar, mandolin, qanun, flute, clarinet, ney, derbouka, daf, bendir, etc.
Kathak classes begin with learning and practicing foot rhythms (tatkar), as well as the vocabulary of synchronised body movements, then diverse choreographies, rhythmic sequences, as well as invocations to the hindu gods (Bandana).
