Sylvian Sahli is a Swiss dancer specializing in traditional dance. His meeting with dancers and teachers Britt Mari Westholm and Bengt Mård marked the beginning of an all-consuming passion for Nordic dance. Sylvian took part in numerous training courses and travelled to Sweden to deepen his knowledge and skills in dance. At the same time, he is involved in research into the dances of French-speaking Switzerland, and is much in demand as a teacher of traditional Swedish, French and Swiss dances.
Irmela Schmid is a Swiss dancer of German origin. Like Sylvian, Irmela began her interest in Swedish dance with Britt Mari Westholm and Bengt Mård. Following this encounter, she developed her dance practice through various training courses and trips to Sweden, and now regularly teaches Swedish dance classes.
